How to be prepared for your appointment.

So you've decided you wanted to waste less time everyday doing your make up and take the plunge. Here are some of the best ways you can get ready for a consultation.

Preparing for the Consult

  • Do you have a specific shape in mind? Bring some reference photos with you. Keep in mind that you are not necessarily Kim Kardashian, so we will try to combine what you like with what fits your features best.

  • If you have a history of cold sores, diabetes, heart conditions and or high blood pressure, you will be asked to consult your doctor and get them to fill out a medical release stating that it's okay for you to get cosmetic tattooing procedures.

  • IF YOU HAVE EVER HAD COLD SORES / FEVER BLISTERS / HERPES -  for lip procedures, it is highly likely that you will have an outbreak after the procedure. To prevent this I ask that you take a prescription anti-viral such as Valtrex/Zovirox 3 days prior to your scheduled tattoo appointment, and 4 days after the procedure. Abbreva is also recommended during aftercare.

  • If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure. Exceptions will be made with a Doctors consent if you are near the end of your treatment.

  • Read the site's FAQ's and Aftercare, if you have any further questions ask away! I want you to leave your consult feeling confident and excited about your future appointment!

  • A deposit of 80$ will be needed to book your appointment, this will be deducted off the final price, however if you cancel without a 48 hr notice, you will lose your deposit. Thank you for understanding. Deposits can be sent via Email Transfer is appointment is booked online, or in cash on your consultation day.

Preparing for your Appointment

So we've had the consult, this is how you should be prepared for your cosmetic tattoo appointment.

  • Sleep well the night before.
  • DO NOT go out partying or drinking the night before your appointment (please!). It's best for you to be in a clear and fresh mindset. Drinking also thins your blood which causes you to bleed more during the procedure.
  • I also request that my clients avoid any prescription blood thinners (if possible) 24 hrs before the appointment, this includes Vitamin E and Aspirin.
  • Don't be nervous, I use multiple different numbing agents that will make the procedure virtually painless!
  • Planning on going on vacation after your procedure? Please ensure that you book your appointment 14 days before you're scheduled vacation.

(for eyebrows)

  • If you regularly get your eyebrows shaped, waxed, threaded or tinted, please do so at least 3 days before your appointment. If there are any stray hairs that fall outside of our final shape, we can remove them.

  • You may fill in your eyebrows as you normally would so we can take into consideration the shape you desire.

(for eyelash enhancement)

  • Come with no eye makeup on (especially mascara!) If we have to remove makeup at the appointment it can cause your eyes to become irritated and that is not ideal before your cosmetic tattoo.

  • If you wear contacts please come with your glasses. You will not be able to wear contacts during the procedure.

It's worth noting that one procedure cannot guarantee desired outcome. In some cases, I need to see how my client react to the pigment and review the healing process after the first procedure. Therefore, I offer one free touchup visit within 3 months of the first procedure. In very complicated cases (involving removal/color correction/camouflage/iron disorder) an extra charge may apply on extra touch-ups.
